A letter from Lyndsey:

“Dear Nashville!

I would like to invite all of my friends, family, co-writers, fellow artists, fellow musicians, and music lovers/promoters to join me at 12th and Porter on May 8th @ 6pm.

It’s been a little over 2 years since I have been playing shows up, down, and around the U.S. with my booking agency, APA! I haven’t had the opportunity to bring a full band show home to Nashville in a long time. I am overwhelmed with joy and excitement. My heart is constantly smiling just thinking about all of the familiar faces I can share this night with. With everyone’s crazy schedules it’s hard to get to perform for everyone at the same time. I hope this show will bring everyone together. This particular night, May 8th, is special to me. Many people in Nashville have encouraged, influenced, embraced, pushed, or shaped me to improve in my gift of performing. I hope you all can come and let me share this part of me with you!

The show starts at 6PM. It will be short and sweet but so heartfelt and powerful!

Look for my heart on my sleeve….I will put it out there for you. I want all the folks who know me well to be in the front row! You inspire me and I feed off of your beautiful energy!

Hey yall!  I had a blast on the road this past weekend with Tritt!  The crowds were so interactive and energetic. That makes my job so much fun!  I got to thinking… “what is everyone thinking about when I am singing the lyrics to ‘Deep Trouble’”?

I know we have all stirred up a little trouble in our life. Tell me about a time when you think you were in DEEP TROUBLE!!

Were you a kid and broke all the rules?  Were you a teenager who was always up to no good? Or do you often find yourself in this situation now? Haha! There’s nothing wrong with a little trouble, as long as no one gets hurt.

Grillin’ and Chillin’ Icon

“After opening for Little Texas this summer, I am extremely eager to do it again. I recently spoke to a director at the Grillin’ and Chillin’ Festival and I feel so welcomed already!  I am ready to entertain the crowd before they hit the stage, get to spend some time with the band, and make new fans!”, Lyndsey mentions about her upcoming show.

She is on her way to Pittsburgh, PA where she will be opening for Southern Ground’s southern rock band, Blackberry Smoke. This Thursday (8/23) she will hit the stage at The Altar Bar, PA then Friday (8/24) she graces the stage in Dayton, Ohio for the Buckeye, Harley-Davidson gang!

“I’ve always enjoyed the down to earth souls of BBS. Every one of the guys adds their own spice to the group. They are one of my favorite live concerts, ever! I find myself jumping up and down as soon as they strum the first note. Opening for them will not only be a blast, but an honor! I’m ready to hear Paul’s harmonies and see Charlie pick that guitar.”

 

 

Lyndsey will have her brand new EP, “You Can’t Stop Me”, as well as other original merchandise available for purchase. She spends lots of time chatting with friends at the merch booth. Thanks to APA for starting me off right this summer. It’s been hard work, long hours of traveling, and uncomfortable at times (being the only girl on the road!!) – BUT its all worth it!  I love all the new fans and friends that I have met along the way.

Favorite memory so far:  A big thunderstorm hit Ohio after we finished our set. Little Texas had to stop half way through their show.  Unfortunately, they didn’t get to finish performing.  But fortunately, we got to hang out with Little Texas for the longest time. They are all so awesome! We chatted, laughed a lot, drank a lil’ , and got soaking wet from the rain!!

I’m ready for more…

THIS WAS SUCH A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!  APA really stocked the line-up at the Kenny Chesney pre-show party!  @WeAreKingston and @SteelMagnolia11 shared the stage with me this evening. I couldn’t have asked for a better night.  I am so thrilled to share music with Kingston and Steel Magnolia and alllllll of the Hard Rock Cafe Nashville!  All of my friends that came to support me are amazing. All of the new fans I made warm my heart and make me feel incredible! We had a hell of a time, didn’t we???

There were fans dancing and singing along in the front. So many APA Agents came to join the fun and show their love towards their artists!   Thank you Steel Magnolia for having us. I love you Josh and Meg!

A HUGE shout-out goes to waitress Courtney who went over and beyond to make sure our night was wonderful.  Brian- you really did an outstanding job!! So proud to have you on stage with me.

Upon arriving to the venue grounds, we were greeted with wonderful security staff that led me to the green room and catering.  HELLO AMAZING CATERING!! It was so healthy and so delicious.   Healthy  makes me happy and confident!  I was very thankful for that. The green room trailer was so cool and provided us with a nice place to freshen up and go over our set.   I was happy to run into my fellow APA Client Aaron Parker and his band!! We shared some time in the green room wishing one another luck and both going over things before the show. 

I think the BAMAJAM 2012 crowd was quite the group!  There was a of people planted right in the front row in their chairs as soon as the show began.  There were also lots of people standing at the beer tent  BUT as soon as I got through the first verse of the first song- we had a huge crowd! I loved the audience participation and how everyone sang along with the songs!! You guys truly made me proud to sing for you !  I hope to be a part of BAMAJAM for years to come!
